Terms and Conditions

The rules for training with us, booking classes, hiring the venue, and where you stand on health, safety and liability.

These terms cover your use of All Powers Gym, our classes and services, and any bookings you make with us. By training with us, booking a class, or hiring the venue, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not book.

We are All Powers Gym, Hallam Mill, Hallam St, Davenport, Stockport, SK2 6PT. If anything here is unclear, email allpowersgym@outlook.com and we will explain it.

1. Accepting these terms

Booking a class, paying for a session, or training at the gym means you accept these terms. If you are booking for someone under 18, you accept these terms on their behalf as their parent or guardian.

2. What we provide

We are a Muay Thai and combat sports gym. We run:

  • Muay Thai classes, beginner to advanced

  • An invite-only fighters' class

  • Junior Muay Thai for ages 5 to 15

  • Junior wrestling

  • Strength and conditioning

  • Sparring sessions

  • 1-2-1 private coaching

  • Venue hire

We do our best to run the timetable as advertised, but we may change, move or cancel a class — for example if a coach is unavailable. Where we can, we will let you know through the booking system or our usual channels. If we cancel a class you have paid for and cannot offer a suitable alternative, you will not be charged for it.

3. Booking and payment

Class bookings and payments are handled through ClassFit, our booking platform, with card payments processed by Stripe. When you book or pay, you are also agreeing to ClassFit's and Stripe's own terms and privacy policies, which apply alongside ours. We never see or store your full card details.

The price, what is included, and any expiry date are shown to you before you pay. Where a class package or membership has a minimum term, a notice period, or renews automatically, that is set out at the point of purchase and in your booking account — those terms apply to your booking.

4. Cancelling, refunds and missed classes

To cancel a class you have booked, cancel it through the booking system. The notice period for a free cancellation is shown when you book and in your booking account. Cancel within that window and your session is returned to you or refunded, depending on how you paid. Miss a class without cancelling in time and the session is used.

None of this affects your legal rights. If we cancel a session, fail to provide what you paid for, or you are otherwise entitled to a refund under consumer law, you will get one. Refunds are made through Stripe to the card you paid with.

5. Health, fitness and the risks of training

Combat sports carry a real risk of injury. Muay Thai, wrestling and sparring involve physical contact, and even with proper coaching and supervision you can get hurt. By training with us you accept the risks that are part of these activities.

You must be in good enough health to train. Before your first session, tell us about any medical condition, injury, pregnancy or anything else that could affect your safety or someone else's, and tell a coach if anything changes. If you are unsure whether it is safe for you to train, speak to your GP first — we cannot give medical advice. We may ask you not to train if we reasonably believe it is not safe for you or for others.

None of this removes our responsibility to run the gym safely and competently. See section 8.

6. Juniors

Anyone under 18 must be booked in by a parent or guardian, who accepts these terms on their behalf and must tell us about any medical condition or injury affecting the child. Junior Muay Thai is for ages 5 to 15.

Juniors must follow their coach's instructions at all times. A parent or guardian must be contactable throughout the session, and we may ask them to collect a child who cannot safely take part or will not follow instructions.

7. Code of conduct

We keep a good gym by everyone pulling their weight. When you train with us:

  • Treat coaches and other members with respect. No aggression, threats or discrimination.

  • Do what the coaches tell you, particularly during sparring and clinch work.

  • Use the equipment properly and put it back. Tell us if something is broken.

  • Turn up clean, in suitable kit, with your own wraps and gloves where needed, and cover any cuts.

  • Do not train under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

We can refuse entry, end a session, or withdraw access if you break this code, put others at risk, or do not pay. Where we do that, anything you have paid for and not yet used will be dealt with fairly and in line with your legal rights.

8. Venue hire

The space is available to hire. Hire is arranged separately and the rate, deposit and cancellation terms are confirmed with you before you book.

If you hire the venue you are responsible for your group, for using the space and equipment safely, and for leaving it as you found it. You are responsible for any damage beyond fair wear and tear. If you are running an activity for other people, you must hold appropriate insurance for it.

9. Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to exclude. UK law does not permit us to exclude those, and we are not attempting to.

Beyond that, we are not responsible for:

  • loss or damage that was not a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms;

  • injury arising from the risks that are inherent in combat sports, where the session has been run competently and safely;

  • loss or theft of personal belongings on the premises, unless caused by our negligence;

  • the services, platforms or acts of third parties, including ClassFit and Stripe.

None of this affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

10. Your personal information

We handle your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy. Booking and payment data is also handled by ClassFit and Stripe under their own privacy policies.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms — for example if our services or the law change. The version on this page is always the current one, and the date below tells you when it last changed. If you keep training with us after a change, that counts as accepting the updated terms. Where the law requires us to give you notice of a change, we will.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute falls to the courts of England and Wales.

If something has gone wrong, talk to us first — email allpowersgym@outlook.com, call us, or speak to us at the gym, and we will try to put it right.
